Beyond Parametric Design
Most engineering design optimisation relies on parameterised geometry and predefined design templates. These approaches can identify strong solutions, but they also constrain the design space to concepts that have already been anticipated.
GoSim is developing a new patent-pending approach to computational design that allows geometry to evolve more freely, while maintaining the constraints required for engineering feasibility and manufacture.
By combining advanced simulation, optimisation and a fundamentally different way of representing geometry, we aim to help engineers explore a broader design space and discover better solutions.

Who We Are
GoSim was founded by James Goss, ex-CEO of Motor Design Ltd, the creators of Motor-CAD. James Hughes joined as CTO to take the software from prototype to product.

Two Seats Open
GoSim is currently two people and a working prototype. We're hiring two founding engineers to help turn that prototype into a commercial product. The work is greenfield: you'd help set the architecture rather than inherit it. Both roles are fully remote, open to UK-based applicants only.
